Let’s start with the basics – why go with Maelee instead of a regular bookkeeper that looks less expensive?

This is a common concern many business owners have. Simply put, regular bookkeepers do not have the experience and knowledge to know about tax write-offs or proper financial statement presentation like a CPA does. Why? Because their training and education credentials are different.

Jess was at the top of her class in her advanced accounting courses and just “gets” debits and credits. She loves financial statements and can quickly see problems with them. This helps ensure the result provided by Maelee is clean and accurate. It might also reassure you to know that CPAs have to maintain annual training to ensure they're always updated and on top of it. How nice for you - and for Jess with all her number loving.

How do I smile when it comes to accounting numbers? By working with Maelee! We know the time, frustration and energy-drain that often comes with managing your own business numbers, but we also know it doesn't have to be that way. As your financial side-kick, we speak your language, prepare your documents accurately and send them to you right on time.

How do we work together? Once you become a client of Maelee, we will let you know what to send us and when (considering your specific needs). After this, it’s our job to take care of the rest. To keep your financial or personal information super safe, we have an online portal where you can securely upload and download your documents. Ps. If you're a local, of course we can meet for coffee too!
